Tammy Boucher is the president and founder of Boucher Public Relations, LLC.  Tammy has more than 17 years of experience in marketing and communications.  She began her career as a reporter before becoming a strategic communications specialist more than 10 years ago.


Tammy has designed and implemented programs that garnered extensive local and national awards including the Sabre Award, the Publicity Club of New England Bellringer Award, the PRSA Bronze Anvil Award of Commendation and PR Week Finalist for Crisis Campaign of the Year.

Prior to starting her own company in 2006, Tammy most recently served as an account director with High Point Communications, Inc., in Bow. At High Point Communications, Tammy was responsible for designing and developing overall marketing and communications strategies for the firm’s various clients, with primary project management responsibility on these accounts.


Client focus areas have included education, healthcare, non-profits, corporate, financial, and hospitality. Tammy specializes in strategic communications, public and media relations and market strategy development and has extensive experience in issues management and awareness campaigns. As a former reporter, Tammy has strong relationships with the media. 


Prior to joining High Point, she was director of public relations for Daniel Webster College in Nashua, NH, where she was responsible for both internal and external communications, project management, special events coordination and the writing and publishing of the alumni magazine. Prior to that, she was an account executive with LTD Company, a marketing and public relations firm, where she wrote press releases and copy for advertisements and collateral material for diverse clients as well as provided project management on a day-to-day basis. Tammy also worked as a reporter for The Union Leader and Foster’s Daily Democrat, providing in-depth coverage on a variety of topics.

Tammy graduated magna cum laude from the Honor’s Program at the University of New Hampshire in Durham with a B.A. in English/Journalism and a minor in justice studies. She is a graduate of St. Paul’s Advanced Studies Program and the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce Leadership Manchester 2002 Program. Tammy currently serves as a member of the Pembroke School Board and is active in the Pembroke Action League for Schools (PALS) and her church. Tammy was named one of the state's "40 Under Forty," an annual selection and listing of distinguished statewide leaders by the Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire and the New Hampshire Union Leader.  Most recently she was selected as the June 2007 Emerging Young Entrepreneur (EYE) Award winner by New Hampshire Business Review in partnership with Centrix Bank.  The award honors New Hampshire's young business owners for their creativity, determination and business success.


Tammy lives in Pembroke with her husband, Steve, daughter Cheyenne and son Cove.
